Jesus said, "Go into all the world and make disciples…" That’s the mission of every Christian, to make disciples. And the first step is to invite folks to -- "come and see" – "come see what God is doing in this place." In response to our mission as Christians, the Outreach Commission has set Sunday, November 7 as Friendship Sunday! Prayerfully consider inviting a friend to attend Sunday School and worship with you that day.

We won’t be doing anything special or different during the 10:30 am worship service – we just want folks – friends, neighbors, relatives who may not have a church connection, to see what a typical Sunday in our worship life is like. Invite someone to "Come and see" what Grossnickle Church of the Brethren is all about!

November 7 is also the day set aside to honor NEW MEMBERS. So you could also invite your guests to stay for the 12 noon meal in the Parish Hall after worship. After the meal, a short program with a slide presentation will highlight the individuals who have joined our congregation in 2010. We will hear about their lives, their families, and their unique interests. And we will extend a special welcome to our newest members --
